News From the Show

Better Than You Bay Bay

The title changes started early as Adam Cole and MJF defeated Aussie Open to win the ROH World Tag Team Championships. This is the first ROH World Tag Team Championship run for both competitors, with Cole having a long history as ROH World Champion and Television Champion. The duo will now face off in the main event with MJF’s AEW World Championship up for grabs.

FTW Belt Comes Home

Hook defeated Jack Perry in the second match of the Buy-In to win the FTW Championship for the second time. The match was contested under FTW rules as the two brawled on the entrance ramp, using the limo Perry entered in as a weapon.

A Win in the Home Country

Saraya pinned Toni Storm while Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida were battelling for position with Baker trying to apply the Lock Jaw. Things heated up between the Outcast stablemates and Ruby Soho tried to get involved. We will see if Storm is still part of the stable come Dynamite on Wednesday but Saraya will return from her home country as the AEW Women’s Champion.

Billy Gunn Wins Gold Again

After being convinced to retire by the House of Black, The Acclaimed brought Billy Gunn back to the ring. It was a good decision for Gunn has he became AEW Trios Champion at All In.

A Record Attendance For the Main Event – Not the Final Wembley Show

A live attendance of 81.035 was announced by Nigel McGuiness. The record-setting crowd witnessed a main event that saw the emotions of MJF and Adam Cole pushed to the limits. A double pin draw occurred after both men clotheslined each other. Both competitors agreed to restart the match and have a definitive winner. Roderick Strong made his way to the ring and convinced Cole to use underhanded tactics with the referee down. Cole listened to Strong but it was not enough to take MJF down.

MFJ would win with a roll-up and try to console an upset Cole. After Cole tossed the ROH World Tag Team Championship out of the ring, MJF gave Cole a shot to hit him with the AEW World Championship Belt. Strong wanted Cole to do so, but Cole refused. Cole and MJF hugged in the middle of the ring and The Kingdom had to hold Strong back to end the show.

Just before going off the air, it was announced that All In would return to Wembley Stadium on August 25, 2024.
