Somebody call Netflix. We may have seen the next great thespian of our time during Thursday Night Football's matchup between the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders.
Sam Mustipher, Bears offensive lineman, was pushed by Washington defensive tackle Daron Payne after the play. To be fair to Payne, it was actually Mustipher who initiated the extracurricular contact with a small shove. He, predictably, responded with a shove of his own. At least, unlike Mustipher, Payne shoved his opponent in the front and not the back.
Either way, Mustipher responded to the aggression with an Emmy-worthy performance. You can see it below.

Let's cast this right now.
Mustipher plays a gritty secret service agent who dives in front of the President and saves the country, and the day.
Or how about this one...
Mustipher plays an aspiring soccer star new to the big stage of the world cup. His team is down and needs a big goal to move on. All he has to do is somehow get a penalty kick and he knows he can win the game...
Jokes aside, it was easily the most exciting play of the first half between the Bears and Commanders.
